Lost time

Lost time is never found again. We moved to a new apartment in June 2009, leaving the old house in which lots of precious memories lies. Sometimes I do miss it, even just merely looking at the old furniture in that old house will trace me back to the days we've spent there.

My Manifesto - EXERCISE

For this project we had to write our own manifesto and execute it! I decided to go jogging every morning, yes in late winter time which the morning was always cold to hell! It is an interesting and fulfilling experience and I learned to do some simple animation. The finished work was not perfect enough, but I quite enjoyed the process. However it turned out I only persisted for two weeks more. It's always hard to keep a habit!!!

一生青春 (Youth) - CD Design

We had a chance to design our own CD this time. I've been interested in Japanese culture, music and manga ever since I was a kid, thus I decided to design something that looks oriental. The songs I've chosen (a mixture of Japanese, Chinese, and English songs) are mostly positive and youthful, for I wanna feel happy when listening to this cd! I am inspired by "The wind, the stars, and the Möbius strip"(風と星とメビュースの輪) by Mr. Children. This endless path is a symbol of eternity,and to me, youth itself is a precious eternity.

Batch Production-The House

I explored paper engineering and have made 5 books out of my lovely house in Brighton. The living room, the kitchen, the stairs, and the attic scenery can all be seen inside. I made each housemate a book and painted only their things in their books,and their favourite scenery at the last page.

Make the invisible-visible

This is one of the projects we made in our second year.Chinese characters originate from pictographs, and have evolved for thousands of years to this stage. In reverse, one can see the images reviving from those characters.
